Marianne Glick began painting in 2004 as a way to positively
approach the long winter months. Her creativity in the garden
gave her such joy that she wanted to continue that creativity
when she wasn't able to garden outside. Many of her initial
paintings focused on capturing the beauty of the flowers in her
garden.
Marianne mostly works in watercolor and acrylics. Her work
has been exhibited at the Indianapolis Art Center, the
Indianapolis Museum of Art, the American United Life
Building in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Sullivan Munce Cultural
Center and the Eagle Creek Coffee Company in Zionsville.
Her work has also been presented in juried competitions
sponsored by the Watercolor Society of Indiana, California Art
Day and others. Well-known and well-respected among Indianapolis
artists, Marianne also holds a special place in the Hoosier
heart for her philanthropic work around Indianapolis.
